REAL LOVE

Jess Gordon is out with another Valentine's kit: REAL LOVE. This one a mini kit with lots of stuff in it(!) Right now it's for sale at her store. To the right is a preview of the kit - gorgeous! Looove the brown and white papers, and the words from the Bible she used as inspiration and also to decorate some of the papers:

I am one of the lucky few that got to scrap with it before it was in the store and this was my first try (I was so busy at work, so it came together in a hurry, if I should do it again I would clip the brown paper with a proper mask because I kind of like that idea):


I looove brown paper and I soooo wanted to use it, but I couldn't quite get it to fit with the photos and the overall idea for the page (I was so tired, couldn't get my brain to think it up again.. LOL). Because of that I wasn't too happy with it so I worked on it again last night - and this is the final result (Jepp! It got different from the first!):

I've had this LO in my photo shop (elements) tray for over a week. It almost drove me crazy because I couldn't get the photos to stand out like I wanted. Then I learned how to ink my edges, and I did it on the photo frames with a darker color of blue and pink - and whooola - my photos popped like I wanted :D

And here is finally the finished result:

We have almost a meter of snow now, it's been snowing a lot the last couple of days. I don't mind, but I wish I had some time to shovel some snow off my drive way (and some larger muscles...but I guess I'll get that after??!!??!)

I've now drifted into January 20th better get me some sleep if I ever shall get up in the morning! Night :D

Jess is out with another kit at her sunshine studio scraps store. I got to be among the first ones scrapping with it. So fun, and also a challenge since pink isn't really my color - but there is other colors too ;)

If you pop over to the store you can see that she also has quick pages made, leafs to go with the flowers and even some printables. Lots of GOOD stuff!!

This kit is perfect for Valentines day and for scraps of your loved ones - and, as you can see, it even works for BOYS and firework!!!

It's busy this time of season for a pastor, but here it is, as I promised the other day. My second layout made by Jess Gordon's new kit: Christmas Heart. Christmas Heart

Saturday I got an email from Jess asking if I would join her "one kit ct-call" one more time, she was about to open her own store (the store is open now, check her out!) and needed some LO's to go with her new kit Christmas Heart.

I love getting such emails - off course I would scrap for her! After downloading the kit I found that this was a beautiful kit filled to the brim with Christmas love, but without being the standard red, green and white. I've had so much fun scrapping with it this weekend and look forward to do more as I get around to it. ;)

Isn't it GORGEOUS?!!?!!

I have plenty of photos from the last three Christmas' with MT so it was about time I scrapped another Christmas LO. So this is what I made:

journal: MT's very first Christmas was celebrated at the farm. Grandma and Grandpa were so happy to have us living there for a month. This photo was taken when we helped Grandma dress the tree on December 23rd. I loved watching how much fun they had together sharing the joy of the season. Christmas is our family's favorite time of the year!

I did another one as well, but that'll be for another post, since I have an early morning tomorrow - and it's already past midnight. Better get to bed soon!! Night :D

This is my Father's world

Olive - Fathers world

I got inspired and did finish another LO from the Olive kit. This time the lyrics of the sheet of music you can see was what got me going. Read it here (roll down a little bit) - here at my place.

It's lots going on here, seems to be my style ;)

Olive

Yesterday Jess of Scrapbook ideas announced that she wanted a ct-team for her first kit. I found the courage to apply. And was accepted - how cool is that!! Thanks for having faith in me, Jess ;D

At the Christina Renee designs several designers have participated in making the collaborate kit think pink, Jess was one of the designers. Afterward the designers started designing a full kit in only one color, they called the project "Color Theory". The designers got to choose their own color to make their kit in - and Jess choose the OLIVE color.

At first I got a bit scared when I started scrapping, this was my first ever ct-call - and even though it was just for this kit I wanted it to be fantastic and special. After a while, and a lot of interruptions later, I calmed down, added a bit of colors and came up with this (as close to one color LO I can get!):
