The blog train is moving again.
Welcome to station LIME in the winter wonderland of Norway. (I'm a bit early since I'm away from the computer tomorrow, Feb. 1th, when most of the other stations are opening their doors - and that's when you find the kit in the store as well!)
Anyway, the February Collab from Pretty Scrappy is on it's way:
Love and Kisses
As creative team member I got to scrap with it this week - and made these two Brag Book pages:
Credits (for both):
paper and elements (and alpha on the brown LO) from Love and Kisses, the February collab kit from Pretty Scrappy. Some recoloring is done by me.
I made you some freebie QP as well, click the image below to download. Hope you like them, I'd love a comment as a thank you - and please let me know if anything is wrong; this is my first try with 4shared.
Here are links to other QP freebies, made with the Love and Kisses kit:

The Love of Lime
The very first time MT tasted lemons - he hated it. It was too sour he told me!
But recently he have developed a love for the LIME taste. And his mother couldn't be happier ;)
For my CT-assignment week 4 at Pretty Scrappy I had to scrap about this event; having Dorothy's beautiful papers to scrap with made it as bright, light and happy as I imagined.
There is some blending of papers going on there in the background and I changed some colors and added an overlay by Vera Lim to get the feel I was after.
And here it is; The Love of Lime:

Template by Pressed Petals/Alamama; papers, elements and alpha from Oh, happy day by Dorothy's Creations; Overlay by Vera Lim.

He used to find sour fruits something to avoid, he loves sweets. But then he got a second taste, of LIME, and he changed his mind. Now sour is GOOD!!

REAL LOVE
Jess Gordon is out with another Valentine's kit: REAL LOVE. This one a mini kit with lots of stuff in it(!) Right now it's for sale at her store. To the right is a preview of the kit - gorgeous! Looove the brown and white papers, and the words from the Bible she used as inspiration and also to decorate some of the papers:
I looove brown paper and I soooo wanted to use it, but I couldn't quite get it to fit with the photos and the overall idea for the page (I was so tired, couldn't get my brain to think it up again.. LOL). Because of that I wasn't too happy with it so I worked on it again last night - and this is the final result (Jepp! It got different from the first!):
Credit (for both LO's):

So what are you waiting for? Run over to Jess's store - or jump over to her blog and get inspired with her writing, freebies and great tips & tricks.
“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a (NIV)I am one of the lucky few that got to scrap with it before it was in the store and this was my first try (I was so busy at work, so it came together in a hurry, if I should do it again I would clip the brown paper with a proper mask because I kind of like that idea):

sweet
I've had this LO in my photo shop (elements) tray for over a week. It almost drove me crazy because I couldn't get the photos to stand out like I wanted. Then I learned how to ink my edges, and I did it on the photo frames with a darker color of blue and pink - and whooola - my photos popped like I wanted :D
And here is finally the finished result:

We have almost a meter of snow now, it's been snowing a lot the last couple of days. I don't mind, but I wish I had some time to shovel some snow off my drive way (and some larger muscles...but I guess I'll get that after??!!??!)
I've now drifted into January 20th better get me some sleep if I ever shall get up in the morning! Night :D

Blowing Bubbles
I've been working on Babyyaks kit November Baby for my CT-assignment this week. I love the colors of this kit and are planning another LO using the gorgeous greens - if I only can find some time ;) It's snowing like crazy outside and I really should be outside shovel some of it away from my driveway - just can't bring myself to start.... We'll see when MT is finished playing online games in a little hour or so.
Anyhow, back to the scrap page; I went back to November 2006 and found these fun photos of MT playing with soap bubbles. I love those photos ;) I extracted some soap bubbles from another photo, I'm not sure if I like it or not - wish they had been against a blue sky - but I couldn't find any. This will do, I might go back and fix it later on, though.

alpha by Britt-ish design; all else from Babyyaks
Thanks for the download of my freebie BB QP (post below), right now the counter are at 640(!!) I'm happy and amazed about how many wanted it and I so appreciate those that took the time to leave me warm and nice comments :D It warmed my heart!
Thank you so much!!

So Flirty :)
Jess is out with another kit at her sunshine studio scraps store. I got to be among the first ones scrapping with it. So fun, and also a challenge since pink isn't really my color - but there is other colors too ;)
If you pop over to the store you can see that she also has quick pages made, leafs to go with the flowers and even some printables. Lots of GOOD stuff!!
This kit is perfect for Valentines day and for scraps of your loved ones - and, as you can see, it even works for BOYS and firework!!!
Here is my first go:
Credits:
template by Britt-ish design; staples from Christmas Heart by Jess Gordon; papers, elements and alpha from So Flirty by Jess Gordon.
Here is my second go, a bit simpler approach! The above took me more or less all weekend to finish - this one below took a couple of hours ;)

our Christmas tree
We're back to everyday life with early mornings, pre school and regular work. But our Christmas tree will stay with us some more days. I scrapped this yesterday, from our putting-the-tree-up-day December 23rd.
Credits:
template, hanging clip and alpha by Brittney design; papers and elements are from the winter wonderland 2 collab by the studio girls and guy (alpha and papers by studio mgl, circle + swirl clusters and papers by studio Ziska, tag and bow by polkadot plum).
Look around for the blog train with the Jan collab from Pretty Scrappy, I'm planning to make a brag book page :D But now; off to the office!

Word for 2009
Happy New Year!!
I was inspired to find a word that could follow me throughout the year. I found a word that evokes a lot of feelings in me. Both good and bad.
I think it’s the right word for this year.
Time will show if I think that a year from now Because of the computer crash I’m starting the new year rebuilding and downloading. Feeling a bit vulnerable since I lost a lot of stuff that was dear to me, but also fine since new beginnings are exciting and can give new directions and answers that the old me couldn’t see….. Here is hoping 2009 will be a good year!!

This was my CT-assignement for week 1 - 2009, I got to scrap with the kit Dan from Just passin' thru. Here is a glimpse at the preview. You can find the kit at Pretty Scrappy :D
For the last months I've been a CT for the Pretty Scrappy shop. Every week (give or take) I scrap a LO for them with different designers and kits. Ususally I scrap a challenge with this; most often from Scrapmatters - this time it was the Tuesday Template challenge.
This way the kit gets more attention and I get some inspiration for my LO.

journal: It might seem like a strange word. But for me it’s a word that suits me both in my personal life and when I think about how everything are connected and how my choices affects others far away; the environment etc. Now I’m curious; how will this word give meaning throughout the year?!
